New improvements at Clearview
After completely renovating the parlor, stairways and porch areas last year. We have now just upgraded two bathrooms with new beautiful marbletop vanities. The bathroom on the first floor next to the office was also completely restored with weinscoating, hardwood floor and new fixtures.
Natural setting
We have been having white tailed deer coming to drink in the pond in front of the house almost every day the last week. They are not even afraid of people walking in and out of the inn! In the cool mornings there is a mile long walk on a paved road that leads through a canopy of trees. Its refreshing to walk while birds sing and you can hear the water running through the brook.
Dinner with an Amish Family
We know of an Amish family that enjoys hosting guests for dinner. So, if you are interested, we can arrange this for you with a few days notice. This family will host you for dinner and loves to share about the Amish community and beliefs. Every one of our guests who have been there return raving about the experience. Cost is $15 per person payable directly to the Amish family. If you tell us which night you want to dine there, we will simply make arrangements for you.
